About this Project

This renovation maximized the potential of the original kitchen by creating a spacious, open-plan layout that seamlessly connects the kitchen to a modern, light- filled dining and relaxation area. Structural modifications, including the removal of internal walls and the installation of a steel beam, allowed for this expansive design.

The kitchen features a central island with integrated seating, storage, and a built-in induction hob with a downdraft extractor. The layout includes space for a large dining table and a relaxing area with comfortable, oversized couches, perfectly positioned to allow interaction with someone while they are cooking. This thoughtful arrangement makes the space ideal for both casual family time and social gatherings.

As part of the project, a downstairs bathroom was integrated into the design, further enhancing the functionality of the space and making it ideal for hosting guests. LED recessed lighting and large bifold doors flood the space with natural light and create a seamless connection to the garden. Engineered hardwood flooring ties the areas together for a cohesive and durable finish. The result is a highly functional and stylish space, perfect for modern living, relaxing, and socializing.
